How to Create An AudioPodium Recording
for a Teleclass on a (405) AudioPodium:

Please be aware that an AudioPodium is a computer based service that is subject to human, software and hardware errors. These may occur under certain unpredictable circumstances that cause the AudioPodium message to be erased, lost or garbled. It would be prudent to record your message on tape or an other medium as well as the AudioPodium for backup.

You need to have 3-way calling available on your phone to be able to do this.

T o Begin Recording the AudioPodium:

1. Call into the bridge phone number: [ (___) ___-_____ ] [Note: Bridge - Capacity: __ __ people max.] where the teleclass will be taking place. It doesn't matter whether you are calling in as an administrator or participant.

2. Use the flash button to access 3-way calling.

3. You will receive a dial tone.

4. Dial AudioPodium number [(405) 244-4000] and put in a 3 digit box number [ __ __ __ ]. Listen to the first part of the message to make sure this is the class that you wish to record over.

5. Hit * then enter the 4 digit access code [ __ __ __ __ ].

6. Choose [ 4 ] from the menu, then press [ # ].

7. When you hear the beep, immediately begin recording to avoid any dead air. Immediately Read out loud you teleclass introduction.

8. Hit the [ FLASH ] button / hook to return to the teleclass.

To End the AudioPodium Recording:

1. When the class is over, you may end the AudioPodium recording by hitting the [ FLASH ] button / hook. You will still be able to participate in the teleclass but the AudioPodium will no longer be recording.

2. If you wish to end the AudioPodium recording at the same time as you disconnect from the teleclass, simply [ Hang Up ], you will be disconnected, and the recording will stop.
