| Please be aware that an AudioPodium is a computer
based service that is subject to human, software and hardware
errors. These may occur under certain unpredictable circumstances
that cause the AudioPodium message to be erased,
lost or garbled. It would be prudent to record
your message on tape or an other medium as well as
the AudioPodium for backup. |
NOTE WELL:
I. Read through this completely before picking up the
phone and make sure you have filled in all of the blanks
with the information required before proceeding.
II. During a recording session touching any keys on any
of the phones used will stop the session being played
or recorded. Always include a "do not touch phone
keys" warning at the beginning of your message.
A). Dial AudioPodium number
[ (212) 990 - __
__ __ __ ].
You will hear the beginning of the current recording start
to playback, listen and confirm that that this is the recording
for the class that you wish to Record-over or append-to.
B). Press the [ * ] key and when the voice prompt requests, enter your four
(4) digit Personal Security Code:
[ __ __ __
__ ][ * ].
NOTE: The [ * ] key
has to be pressed immediately after the last number key.
You will hear:
"Main Administration Menu
1. To Check Voicemail
2. To Modify a Prompt
3. To Change your Password
4. To go to the distribution
list editor
0. To back to the AudioPodium"
C). Press the [ 2 ] key
to Modify a Prompt (Recording).
You will hear:
"Prompt modification section
0 to back to the AudioPodium
Any other key to modify a recording"
D). Press the [ 5 ] key.
You will hear:
"After the tone please enter the
number of the prompt (Recording) you wish to modify."
E). Enter: [ __
__ __ __]
You will hear:
"1 To listen to the recording
2 To accept the recording as it
is
3 To re-record form scratch
4 To append to the current recording"
F). Press the [ 3 ] key
to make a completely new recording When you hear the beep,
immediately begin recording to avoid any dead air by immediately
reading out loud your introduction:
"During this session please do
not touch any keys on your phone as this will stop the
session being played back and after a voice prompt will
restart at the beginning.

_____________________________________________
_____________________________________________".
NOTE: If someone does touch a key and stops the session
being recorded, then press the [ 4 ] key to append and continue where you left off after
the beep (listen carefully to the instructions given
in the voice prompt)
OR press the [ 3 ] key to discard and start over from the beginning
again after the beep.
G). When finished recording or the appending process,
press the [ 2 ] key
to Stop-recording and press the [ 2 ] key again to save the recording, then hang up. |
